1. Getting Started

1.1 Sign in

Click Sign in with Google to create or access your account. No passwords — just your Google login.

1.2 Create a Campaign

Select your campaign from the header dropdown, then click + New. Give it a name (e.g. "Friday Game Night") and you're set.

1.3 Join a Campaign

Ask your host for the invite link. When guest viewing is enabled, you can open the link and browse the leaderboard without signing in. To add wins or join the roster, sign in and use Join campaign or Login and join campaign as shown on the page.

2. Adding a Win

2.1 Select Game

Go to Add a Win. Pick a game from the grid or click + Add New Game. When adding a game, type at least three characters in the name field to see BoardGameGeek suggestions — pick one to fill the name and artwork, or ignore them and type your own title. You can still upload an image or paste a URL. If suggestions never appear, BGG search may be turned off for the app or BoardGameGeek may be busy; add the game manually and try again later.

2.2 Select Winner & Players

Tap the meeple who won, then optionally tap anyone else who played. Your core campaign meeples appear in the main grid. If the campaign has guest meeples, they appear in a separate Guest meeples row below, each with a Guest badge. Use + Add Meeple to add a new name to the core roster from this step. To add a guest meeple to the campaign, use Edit Win Record (see §5.2 and §2.4).

2.3 Select Date

Pick the date the game was played, then hit Save Win 🎉. Use Back to change game or winner.

2.4 Guest Meeples

Guest meeples are real campaign names marked as guests: they earn wins and show up in stats like anyone else, but they stay in their own row in the UI so occasional players are not mixed in with your main roster. They do not use linked-account slots and are excluded from the header Travellers count (that line counts unlinked core meeples only).

Tally Scores also has Add guest meeple… for names not on the roster yet (see §4.1). Those exist only for that tally. If a tally guest wins, you confirm with Add to Campaign & Record and they are added as a core meeple — not as a roster Guest meeple. Other tally-only names are not kept on the saved win. Roster Guest meeples come from Edit Win RecordAdd guest, as in §5.2.

3. Leaderboard

3.1 Meeple Cards

Each card shows wins and top games. The #1 player gets the golden card. Click a meeple to open their profile. Core meeples fill the main leaderboard; Guest meeples appear in their own section below with a Guest badge when you have any.

3.2 Top Games

Below the meeples, see which games have been played most and who's won them.

3.3 Meeple Profiles

Click a meeple card. If they've linked their account, you'll see cross-campaign stats — total wins, win rate, favourite game.

3.4 Celebration Pills

Use Confetti, Shake, Snapshot (save an image of the meeple cards), or Roll Quotes for a bit of fun when viewing the leaderboard.

4. Tally Scores

4.1 Setup

Click Tally Scores in the nav. Pick a game and who's playing (2+ meeples). Use Add guest meeple… for someone not on the roster yet — they stay on the score sheet for this session only. If they end up winning, the flow offers Add to Campaign & Record and adds them as a core meeple (see §2.4). Click Start Tally.

4.2 Scoring Rounds

Choose round types — VP, Objectives, Cards, Resources, Coins, or custom. Enter scores per player per round. Totals update automatically.

4.3 Record Winner

When done, click Review win and set date. Confirm the winner, pick a date, then Save Win 🎉. A score-sheet image can be generated and stored with the entry so it appears in History (see §5.1).

5. History

5.1 View Entries

Open the History tab to see all wins. Each entry shows game, winner, date, and who played. Wins recorded with Tally Scores may include View full score — open it to see the saved score snapshot image for that game.

5.2 Edit a Win

Click the ⚙️ icon on any entry to open Edit Win Record. Change the game, Victorious Meeple, date, and who played. Participants are grouped into core meeples and Guest meeples; the winner dropdown uses the same groupings. Type a new name and click Add meeple (core roster) or Add guest (guest meeple), then toggle who played. Save with Save Changes. Edits are stamped with who changed what and when.

5.3 Participants

When adding or editing a win, you can mark who played (not just the winner). That drives games-played and win-rate stats for both core and guest meeples. Guest meeples behave like other names for wins and history; only the header Travellers line and roster layout treat them differently (see §2.4).

6. Data Management

6.1 Export

Use Export Data to download a JSON backup of your campaign.

6.2 Import

Use Import Data to restore from a previously exported JSON file.

6.3 Clear All

Clear All removes all data from the current campaign — wins, games, meeples, and history. This cannot be undone.

Back up first. Export your data before using Clear All. Go to Export Data, download the JSON file, and store it safely. You can restore later with Import Data.

7. Personalisation

7.1 Meeple Customisation

Click a meeple card, then Customize Meeple (or ⚙️ Customize in the profile). Commoners choose from preset avatars. Nobles and Royals can upload a custom photo (file or URL) or pick a preset. All tiers can pick a colour. Changes apply to the leaderboard card.

7.2 Game Images

Click the image area on a game card to set or change its image. Upload a file or paste an image URL.

7.3 Favourite Quotes

Linked meeples can pick a favourite quote to show on their card. Use the quote selector in the Customize Meeple modal.

8. Membership & Tiers

8.1 Membership Tiers

Your membership tier sets your limits. Commoner (free): 2 campaigns, party permit of 5 meeples per campaign. Noble: 4 campaigns, party permit of 10 meeples. Royal: unlimited campaigns and meeples. Party permits control how many meeples you can have in each campaign — see the pill in the header. Commoners choose preset avatars only; Nobles and Royals can upload custom photos.

8.2 Plan Summary Pills

When signed in, the header shows small pills: your tier name, campaigns used (e.g. 1/2), and party permit (max meeples for the current campaign). These help you see your limits at a glance. The campaign summary line mentions Travellers (unlinked core meeples) and your tiered active party; guest meeples are not counted as Travellers (see §2.4).

8.3 Campaign Join Requirements

Campaign owners can restrict who can join. Click Update class requirements (below the campaign dropdown) to choose which tiers are allowed — Commoner, Noble, Royal, or any combination. Only users with a matching tier can join that campaign.

9. Announcements & Messages

You may see banners above the nav bar. Global announcements (blue) are for all users. Personal messages (orange) are sent to you specifically. Both can be dismissed with the ✕ button. Dismissed banners may reappear after you log out and log back in, or in a new session.

10. Troubleshooting

Stuck or seeing old data? Try logging out and back in, or refresh the page (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R to bypass cache). Clearing browser cache can also fix display or loading issues.

BGG suggestions missing or failing? You need at least three characters in the game name; the feature can be disabled by operators. BoardGameGeek may rate-limit or be temporarily unavailable — add the game manually and try search again later.
